Février 2011 : CGP à Auteuil
Pendant tout le mois de février s’est déroulé le Conseil Général Plénier à Auteuil. Présence du CPAE (Conseil Permanent d’Assomption-ensemble) au début. Ensuite, le CGP a écouté les rapports des provinces, a été immergé dans différentes situations en France, a suivi une formation avec plusieurs experts, puis dégagé les lignes-force des préparatifs du chapitre général de 2012.

Final vows in India
Sr.Sneha pronounced her final vows on 11th September 2010,during a solemn Eucharistic celebration by Msgr.Philip Njaralakkattu, in the Assumption convent chapel in Pala,Kerala,INDIA. There were sisters from all the communities in Kerala and our novices too were present for the occasion. Sneha’s family & relatives and our Assumption friends were also present for the solemn occasion and the agape after the profession.

On Saturday 18th December Sr. Cathy Mary made her final vows in the Maria Assumpta Chapel, in London.

Fire in San Simon - Philippines
Last Saturday, 26 March 2011, fire of still undetermined origin razed the Pre-School wing of Assumpta School in San Simon, Pampanga. It began at the Faculty Lounge that we more commonly call the “bahay kubo” at around 4:30 pm. By 6:00 pm the fire was under control. It went so fast and we cannot thank God enough that it happened on a day when there were no students !

New convent in Calicut : foundation stone
On 8th September 2010 at 9.00 a.m. the foundation stone for the new convent in Calicut was blessed by the Bishop of Calicut Rt.Rev. Joseph Kalathiparampil.The old comvent was built in 1977 when Sr.Chantal Emmanuel was the Provincial of India. It was a simple building and was built to last for few yearsonly.> Voir toutes les Photos
